An exhibit of work by Vermont Studio Center artist-in-residence Monica Maria Moraru of Toronto will run Jan. 21-31 at Julian Scott Memorial Gallery at Northern Vermont University-Johnson.
The exhibit, “There, There, Now,” and an artist’s talk and reception, 3-5 p.m. Jan. 24, are free for the public. The exhibit will include art that the Romanian-born Moraru is creating during her studio center residency this month.
Moraru works across media, including installation, painting, sculpture and photography. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2015.
Julian Scott gallery is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and during performances at Dibden Center for the Arts on campus.
