About Stefanie Lingenfelter
Raised in Pennsylvania, Stefanie Lingenfelter has been a resident of Vermont since 2008. She came to Northern Vermont University as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, a tobacco treatment specialist, rostered clinical mental health counselor, and school counselor. She holds master's degree in psychology and counseling, with an extensive background in health arts and sciences and Spanish language and culture She started at NVU-Lyndon in August of 2017 as the coordinator for our graduate program in clinical mental health counseling, and now she offers courses in the psychology and human services department.
When she is not designing interactive psychology courses or providing counseling services, Professor Lingenfelter can be found playing outdoors, having fun with her son, gardening, and making herbal remedies and art.
She loves being a part of the NVU-Lyndon community because of the inclusivity, creativity, and passion for learning the students, staff, and faculty all share.
