About William Morison
Professor Morison’s passion for business started while working in factories. One made aircraft parts, another made automotive seals, and a third made undersea fiber-optic cable for the telecom industry. These early experiences have led Professor Morison to a 20-year career in operations management, which he brings to his classes while helping students understand the real world of business.
Professor Morison inspires students to see business as a force for good in the world. He pushes that profit is important, but what we do with that profit is more important. He believes that young people have a passion for positive influences, and he supports that with his teaching and advising work here at NVU-Lyndon.
While Professor Morison is originally from New Hampshire, he currently lives in northern Vermont not far from the Canadian border. His wife Donna teaches accounting courses, and their faithful dog Rebel keeps them entertained. He enjoys snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter while biking and hiking during the summer.
