Make your impact

North sees straight to the problem and gets straight to fixing it.

Our students chase storms across the country, forecast Mount Everest expeditions, fight for climate change action, and report the weather on live television to fourteen Vermont towns five days a week.

North is action.

Our nationally recognized Atmospheric Science degree and Climate Change Science major prepares students for high-impact careers. Recent grads have gone on to work at The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, and Weather Services International, just to name a few.

As a student, you’ll gain real-world experience through hands-on coursework and internships around the country at airlines, newsrooms, weather stations, government agencies, and nonprofits.

Choosing Lyndon was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m grateful for the many leadership and development opportunities. These helped me grow as a person and a professional.
