There’s no strict deadline for applying to any of our programs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but it’s a good idea to get yours in as soon as possible to secure your place. Similarly, if you apply for federal financial aid, you’ll want to submit your FAFSA before you begin studies.

NVU-Johnson Scholarship

The Cathy Higley Graduate Student Scholarly Activity Fund, named after retired staff member Cathy Higley who served the graduate students of Johnson for more than thirty years, provides small cash awards to matriculated students enrolled in any graduate degree program housed at the Johnson campus.

This fund is intended to enhance a student’s participation in scholarly activity related to their degree program. Eligible activities include support for approved research projects, attendance at scholarly conferences, subscriptions to peer-reviewed journals, membership fees for associations, and other scholarly applications. This fund will not be available as scholarship support to cover program tuition or fees. Click here for more information and to apply.
