Stay True to Your Course with a Degree in Mountain Recreation Management from Northern Vermont University
If you love the idea of work as kayaking, ice climbing, mountaineering, making snow, or other outdoor activities, NVU-Lyndon's mountain recreation management program will teach you the skills and provide the hands-on experience you need to land a job you love.
There’s no more perfect place to build outdoor leadership skills than northern Vermont and New Hampshire’s mountains. In fact, our campus was recently named one of the 20 best for outdoor enthusiasts by Petersons. But with our hands-on focus, you’ll have opportunities to explore outdoor recreation on other terrain, too, through internships and expeditions in the U.S. and abroad. Our students also develop knowledge of related topics, including the environment, business, law, and psychology. You'll gain diverse leadership and business skills to work in settings ranging from ski resorts and schools to wilderness areas and ropes courses.
