About the Concentration in Health and Sport Psychology

Are you interested in how psychology can be used to improve performance, how physical activity helps mental health and general well-being, and how stress affects health and wellness? With this concentration, you’ll explore these and related questions and collaborate with faculty on research projects to prepare you to make your impact after you graduate.

With our focus on hands-on opportunities, you will develop your problem-solving and critical thinking skills in an internship to gain the real-world experience employers want. Whether you pursue a career or graduate school after you finish the program, you’ll be ready to jump in and make a difference that lasts.
