About the Concentration in Environmental Analysis and Assessment
This research-based program at NVU-Johnson will prepare you for technically oriented positions in the environmental and regulatory fields and graduate programs in the sciences. You’ll dive into scientific inquiry and analysis both in the field and in our state-of-the art science laboratories on campus. You’ll build skills using specialized tools and equipment as you evaluate environmental problems and design a research project with real-world applications.
With the opportunities you will have to conduct applied research and present your work at seminars and conferences with your professors, you’ll gain knowledge and experience that will open many career doors for you.
Secondary Licensure
Students who earn a bachelor of science degree in environmental science with a concentration in environmental analysis and assessment are eligible to pursue endorsement for secondary education teacher licensure. Learn more about licensure requirements here.
