COVID-19 Update | 1 New Positive on the Johnson Campus

Message from Provost and Chief Operating Officer Nolan Atkins:

Dear NVU Students, Faculty, and Staff,

We have a COVID-19 positive from an off-campus test to report on the Johnson campus. Contact tracing is underway and that individual is isolated off campus. Total cumulative positives since the start of the semester are tracked at NorthernVermont.edu/COVID19.

Keep up the masking, everyone! Students, as you return home and travel over next week’s break, please be sure to take extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of yourself and the NVU community when you return.

We will offer testing next week during the break on our same Wednesday schedule. We have also added a block on Monday, October 11 from 11:30 a.m.–1:15 p.m. Look for more details via email as we get closer to the date.
