COVID-19 Update| 1 New Positives | Flu Clinics

A Message from Interim President John W. Mills

Dear NVU Students, Faculty, and Staff,

We have one new COVID-19 positive to report on the Johnson campus from an off-site test. Contact tracing is underway. Total cumulative positives since the start of the semester are tracked at NorthernVermont.edu/COVID19.

I’d like to remind you all to stay home if you are sick. This means not coming to class and not coming to work when you are sick. Students with symptoms of illness or concerns about COVID-19 exposure should contact Dean of Students Jonathan Davis at Jonathan.Davis@NorthernVermont.edu before attending class or an on-campus job or university activity. Employees with those same concerns should contact their supervisor before coming to work.

Additionally, keep wearing your masks. Not only does a mask help protect you from COVID-19, a mask helps protect you from flu and cold.

I encourage you to get your flu vaccine this year. Our free clinics are this Thursday on both campuses.

John
