COVID-19 Update | 1 Positive on the Lyndon Campus

September 10, 2021

A Message from Interim President John W. Mills:

Dear NVU Students, Faculty, and Staff,

Our testing on Wednesday resulted in one positive on the Lyndon campus. That commuter student is isolated off campus. All active positives are either in isolation on campus or off. Full contact tracing is underway. Total cumulative positives since the start of the semester are tracked at NorthernVermont.edu/COVID19.

Keep up the masking, everyone! I am hearing there is improvement. Keep it up. Thank you for doing your part as a member of the NVU community.

We have added a testing block on the Lyndon campus on Monday. Please see the testing schedule here.

  • Monday, Lyndon campus: 2-3 p.m., Alexander Twilight Theatre Lobby
  • Weekly on Wednesdays, New Expanded Times:
    • Johnson campus: 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m., Multi Gym
    • Lyndon campus: 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m., Alexander Twilight Theatre Lobby

Enjoy your weekend. Be safe. #MASKUPNVU #VAXUPNVU

Thank you,

John
