About the Concentration in Music and Self-Promotion

The Music and Self-Promotion concentration at Northern Vermont University’s Lyndon campus creates a vibrant and innovative environment to help students develop their musical expertise for professional growth and success in the Entertainment Industry. Coursework, collaborative and capstone projects, and professional internships are essential features of this Music Business and Industry concentration.

The Music and Self-Promotion concentration curriculum includes interdisciplinary approaches which connect three major areas of study: the Music Industry, Music, and Business. Students focus on a wide array of topics, develop their own personal and professional aspirations, and gain experience that allows them to promptly respond to the dynamic Entertainment Industry of the twenty-first century.
