Find Your Direction and Follow it to an In-Demand Career in Visual Communication Design

Northern Vermont University’s bachelor of arts in visual communication design will prepare you to succeed in a wide range of professional roles and in-demand careers in the visual communication field. All students take core classes in graphic and web design, and then choose their direction through a concentration in digital advertising, graphic design, illustration, or photography.

As a student in this program, you will build on your broad skills through coursework and real-world projects that turn your passion, your hard work, and creativity into a professional portfolio and resume that will stand out to prospective employers after graduation. Our graduates work as graphic designers and artists, web support specialists, social media managers, visual arts faculty, digital marketing managers, web designers, and more.
