About the Concentration in Photography

Dig into the art, science, craft, and professional application of photography with a concentration in photography as part of your degree in visual communications design.

From composition and lighting to technical control and artistic expression, courses will flow from a comprehensive introduction to advanced knowledge and commercial application, covering SLR and digital photography and the fundamentals of cinematic production. Students will produce portfolios of prints throughout their courses along with a cinematic project.

The skills developed through this coursework are readily applicable to a variety of roles in this field, including graphic designer, web designer, and digital designer, to name just a few.
