Northern Vermont University's new online master's of education concentration in digital media instruction is designed for classroom teachers, Educational Technology Specialists, college instructors, and other instructional professionals who wish to learn how to employ digital media to enhance their teaching.

This 36-credit online program combines educational principles with digital media instruction methods—preparing educators for the classrooms and students of tomorrow. Here are just two of the innovative classes offered. See all course offerings in the dropdown below. 

The Global Context of Technology: In this course, participants examine some of the global education movements and influences, and investigate how they can implement appropriate shifts in thinking and practice so students are prepared for a global future.

Robotics in K-12 Education: This course focuses on the history of constructivism and STEM education, tools that can be used to build a robotics curriculum, and effective teaching and evaluation strategies selected to deliver the curriculum.
