At Vermont State University, we are committed to nurturing a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive learning and working environment where all members of the community are valued and respected.

We acknowledge the variety of perspectives and experiences we each bring to the community, work to understand how our backgrounds influence our beliefs, actions, and interactions with one another, and value our differences for how they challenge our thinking and enrich our community.

Our commitment is expressed partly through the resources we make available to support this vision of community. Below, find ways to receive support and get involved.

Anti-Racism at Vermont State University

At Vermont State, we want to be active agents of change. That means proactively looking for ways to better understand the dynamics of racism, how we may be contributing to the systemic problems that exist, and what we can do to create a more equitable atmosphere where all can realize the full benefits of the education we provide.
