Quimby Art Gallery

Located in the Harvey Academic Center, the Quimby Gallery hosts a range of art exhibits during the academic year. Named in memory of Susan Quimby, a Lyndon State College graduate who excelled in photography, the gallery also displays work by regional artists. Exhibits are free and open to the public. The gallery is open Monday - Friday during the academic year when classes are in session. During breaks, please call ahead to make sure the gallery will be open. 

2018-19 Exhibits

August 21-14, 2018
Lego Exhibit: Our annual exhibit invites children and adults of all ages to build their own original Lego creation.

September 4 - 28, 2018
Social Justice Art:  In this exhibit, artist Jerry Rayla shares work created based on his experience traveling to the Auschwitz concentration camp in 2014 and again in 2016. 

October 2 - 26, 2018

Animation Festival

The Art of Matthew Sylvester
Matthew Sylvester, a Vermont painter and illustrator, not only paints traditional landscapes, but specializes in the fanciful and frightening. His work has been seen in comic books, book covers, movie posters, and concept art.

Art Squared Community Art Event
The annual Art Squared show invites members of the community submit 5 x 5 inch works to display on the walls of the Quimby Gallery. Submissions from community members on both our NVU campuses will be on display.
