Travel and Lodging
Students who would like to experience a night in the residence halls or are traveling long distances and need accommodations during Summer SOAR are welcome to stay with us free of charge. Students will be assigned to a double-room with a roommate in our residence halls. Our apologies, but special requests for roommates during SOAR cannot be accommodated.
Please be aware that due to space limitations on campus, we can only provide lodging accommodations for students. Parents and guests need to make their own lodging arrangements.
Students needing special accommodations for any portion of the SOAR program should contact Mary Etter, Lyndon’s Learning Specialist at 802.626.6210 or via e-mail at Mary.Etter@NorthernVermont.edu. Please make your requests 14 days in advance of your SOAR session to guarantee the availability of accommodations on-site.
Failure to Attend
All new students are REQUIRED to attend and fully participate in the full duration of the SOAR program. Students who fail to show or do not complete their SOAR session will need to reschedule and attend another session.
