Take your first steps as a Northern Vermont University student at NVU-Lyndon's SOAR.

SOAR is a Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration program that is required for all new Northern Vermont University-Lyndon students. New students are required to attend one SOAR session over the summer.

Upon receipt of your tuition deposit, you will be assigned to a SOAR session. If you have a personal conflict with your assigned SOAR date, a session change request can be made. Space is limited in each session; therefore, session requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. All session change requests MUST be made at least 2 weeks prior to your assigned SOAR session. Please contact the First-Year Experience Office at 802.626.6319 to make your session change request.
