32nd Annual Casino Night to Raise Funds for United Way

JSC Casino Night to Benefit Lamoille County United Way

March 26, 2010

The 32nd Annual Casino Night at Johnson State College will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, March 26, at the Stearns Student Center at JSC. Admission is $7 at the door and includes food and refreshments. A cash bar serving beer and wine will be available.

This year’s event features a formal Hollywood theme, with patrons encouraged to wear creative formal or celebrity attire. A range of traditional casino games will be offered, including blackjack, roulette, poker and slots. The evening will conclude with an auction at which people may spend their winnings. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Lamoille County.

“This is a really popular event, and this year we’re going all out to make it better than ever,” says senior Chaz Perry of the JSC Student Government Association, which is sponsoring the event. “We hope community members will come out in force to join in the fun and support a great cause.”
