Imagine, as a college student, the opportunity to work with an early-stage technology company helping to improve electric system reliability under extreme weather. Imagine the opportunity to work in a 1,500-acre tract of woods building trails, controlling invasive species and doing GIS/GPS mapping.
Northern Vermont University-Lyndon and Vermont Technical College announced that a $240,000 grant from the US Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration will expand nursing capacity in the Northeast Kingdom.
Scholarships to Northern Vermont University will be awarded to winners and runners up of the 2021-2022 Vermont High School Writing Contest.
What happens when climate model projections for the Northeastern United States are based on outdated or inaccurate temperature estimates of large bodies of water such as the Great Lakes? The students came to the Johnson and Lyndon campuses from seventeen area high schools for a mix of day and residential experiences, all with the goal of building the skills and confidence that will help each to access higher education and succeed in college.
