Readmission to Northern Vermont University

NVU Admissions Counselors are here to help you every step of the way as you make your way back North.

Follow the Readmission Process below and reach out to Admissions@NorthernVermont.edu with any questions.

Please note that NVU’s decision to readmit a student is based on the circumstances of a student’s departure, which includes a review of the student’s academic and financial standing with the university.

Students Returning Within One Year and Granted Leave of Absence

If you are returning to NVU within one year of leaving and were granted an official Leave of Absence by the Registrar’s Office, you do not need to apply for readmission to the university. See the section on Leave of Absence within the NVU Academic Catalog for more information. Contact the Registrar directly to be readmitted at the close of your Leave of Absence. Contact Admissions@NorthernVermont.edu for assistance.
