JOHNSON, VT – The 39th annual Casino Night at Johnson State College to benefit the United Way of Lamoille County takes place Friday, March 11. Festivities get underway at 8 p.m. in the Stearns Dining Hall.
“This year’s theme is Disco Mania,” said senior Mary Fafard of the JSC Student Government Association, which sponsors the annual event. “So pull out your hot pants and bell bottoms, puff up your hair and bring on the spandex as we raise funds for a good cause!”
The night features free refreshments, a cash bar and a full range of traditional casino games, including blackjack, roulette, poker and slots. The night concludes with an auction at which people may spend their winnings.
Last year JSC Casino Night raised more than $1,000 for the United Way of Lamoille County.
Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. For more information contact JSC.SA@jsc.edu or call 802-635-1232.
