6 New COVID-19 Positives

A Message from Interim President John W. Mills

Dear NVU Students, Faculty, and Staff,

We have six new COVID-19 positives on the Lyndon campus this week. Five of these cases are connected to an off-campus Halloween party. Contact tracing continues and we are isolating as necessary. Total cumulative positives since the start of the semester are tracked at NorthernVermont.edu/COVID19.

It is incredibly important that we use more caution at social gatherings and parties. Please take the same precautions at get-togethers as we do on campus. Wear your masks whenever you are inside with others and especially at gatherings.

We have added a testing session on the Lyndon campus for Friday, November 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in ASAC 100.

These positives are a sobering reminder that we are still in a pandemic with a virus that is transmitted easily. #MASKUPNVU #VAXUPNVU
