Danceland Show Dec. 13-14 at Northern Vermont University

The Danceland show on Northern Vermont University’s Johnson campus will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 13-14 at Dibden Center for the Arts.

The show, a production of NVU-Johnson’s dance club at the end of each semester, is free for the public.

The student-choreographed event will feature about 35 dance club members performing and guest dancers from Stowe Dance Academy. The show will include a variety of music — from Top 40 hits to symphonic blends — and dance styles ranging from jazz and hip-hop to musical theater.

Raffle tickets will be sold before the show and at intermission for homemade goods and gift cards.

Although admission is free, reserved tickets are recommended because the show draws a standing-room-only audience. For tickets, call the Dibden Center box office at 802.635.1476. For more information, visit NorthernVermont.edu/JohnsonEvents.

Danceland is part of Northern Vermont University’s Lecture and Arts Series, made possible in part by the Harriett M. Sherman Lecture Fund, the Lecture and Arts Endowment, Maret ’92 and Tad ’89 Asaro, Bourne’s Energy and Donald P. Blake Jr. Inc.
