About Ashley Warwick

Ashley Warwick proudly joined the Northern Vermont University faculty as an adjunct instructor in 2017. She is a dedicated and highly experienced educator, offering courses in the Music and Performing Arts department as well as the Exercise Science department on the Lyndon campus. She is passionate about creating an engaging, approachable, and relatable classroom community, whether it’s online or in person, where students can connect with the course material and each other for personal and professional success.

In the Music and Performing Arts department Ashley offers courses in stage performance techniques, marketing and self-promotion, and voice instruction. Housed in the Exercise Science department, Ashley’s courses in Breathwork, Meditation, and Relaxation are open to students from all disciplines and are well suited for developing important habits for self-care and stress-relief.

A 2004 graduate of Berklee College of Music, Ashley is an accomplished singer and performer. Prior to relocating to the Northeast in 2016, Ashley spent 12 years in Los Angeles where she performed as a jazz vocalist, classic country and western singer, and voiceover actor, recording numerous parts for commercial and demo work. Additionally, Ashley had a very successful career as a top-level yoga and yogic lifestyle teacher, leading countless workshops on yoga philosophy topics, personal empowerment, movement, body alignment, and relaxation techniques. Ashley is currently enrolled in Castleton University’s Master of Business Administration program and looks forward to incorporating this additional knowledge of business practices into her teaching.

Ashley and her husband, fellow faculty member Brian Warwick, enjoy their time hanging out with their cat, Buttercup, and playing classic country and western music in their band, Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny.
