About Elga Gruner

Elga Gruner came to NVU-Johnson as an international student from Jakarta, Indonesia. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Johnson in hospitality and tourism management she worked for a time in Stowe, VT. NVU-Johnson hired her as an admissions counselor in July 2006, and she has been working with prospective students ever since.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, meeting people from different cultural backgrounds, traveling and exploring new places. “I love playing tourist even in my own town.”

She is here to help international students, transfer students, students interested in our early childhood education program, and students in our NECC at NVU bachelor’s completion program find their direction and follow it.
