About Gregory Ledoux


Dr. Ledoux became a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Adjunct Faculty Member during the completion of his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Lyndon. He also founded his own Personal Training/Consulting business at that time. Following graduation, Dr. Ledoux became an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP). Dr. Ledoux then moved to the greater Boston area where he earned his Master’s Degree from Bridgewater State University with a focus in Applied Clinical Exercise Physiology. Following graduation, he became an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) and National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Dr. Ledoux then returned to NVU-Lyndon as an Adjunct Faculty Member and Fitness Facility/Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, before becoming a full-time faculty member in 2009. Since that time, he has also served as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, guest speaker at both regional and national conferences, published abstracts in the ACSM journal Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, and earned his Ph.D. in Health Science from Trident University International. Dr. Ledoux recently completed an exciting sabbatical at the world-renowned, Heart and Vascular Center of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Dr. Ledoux’s research interests revolve around the prevention and treatment of pathology through evidence-based exercise and functional exercise bio-mechanics for injury prevention and performance. As a former Snocross racer, Dr. Ledoux enjoys mountain biking on the local/world famous Kingdom Trails network, watching and attending formula-1 races, live music, and exploring the beautiful state of Vermont with his family.
