About Kate McCarthy

Kate McCarthy is a clinical counselor with the NVU-Johnson Center.

Before coming to NVU-Johnson in 2015, Kate McCarthy was a health educator/clinical counselor at Lasell College in Newton, Mass.

She has a master’s in social work and a master’s in public health from Boston University and a B.A. in psychology and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

She was a Peace Corps volunteer – working as a community health educator – in Nicaragua from 2004 to 2006.
