About Lisa Zinn


Lisa Zinn has spent her career doing field studies and teaching about nature to all ages. She began her career in Environmental Education and has always loved to take students of all ages into the field. She has begun a bird banding research project at the Babcock Nature Preserve and is also conducting Owl Banding research on the NVU-Johnson campus. In recent years, Lisa has also begun to focus on issues of sustainability. Prior to arriving in Vermont, she directed a Sustainability Leadership Semester program for Goshen College in Indiana. Now she is working to develop the new Sustainability Certificate program at NVU

Professor Zinn lives in Morristown, Vermont where she enjoys birding, hiking, biking, and exploring the wonderful ecosystems of Vermont.
