LYNDON CTR., Vt. – Lyndon State College’s Adam Vigue ’03 has been named the Sodexo Manager of the Year for the Vermont and Upstate New York districts. Vigue, of Lyndonville, Vt., is in the third year in this position with Sodexo at Lyndon.

“We are very fortunate to have Adam Vigue working with LSC on behalf of Sodexo. It’s no surprise to those who know him that he has been recognized in this manner,” said Dean of Students Jonathan Davis. “Adam leads his very effective team by example each day by working hard to ensure customer satisfaction, maintaining open communication channels across the campus, and demonstrating a passion for the institution that he earned a degree from.”

Vigue was chosen from managers across campuses throughout Vermont and upstate New York. According to Sodexo district manager Ted DiGrande, the award is based on the following criteria; year over year financial improvement, student satisfaction survey score improvement from Fall to Spring Semester, assistance with potential client partnerships, strong onsite client satisfaction as voiced by the President and Dean of Students, as well as team participation in the Vermont First Culinary Challenge held at Johnson State College.

Vigue is not alone in his management of Stevens Dining Hall and The Hornet’s Nest snack bar. Kip Mayo serves as executive chef, and Lawrence G. Paglierani is the food service and catering manager. “We are very proud of Adam and wanted to recognize his fellow managers, Kip and Larry in their support roles in leading Lyndon to new heights in 2015,” added DiGrande.
