Alum to Star in Production of Hairspray

Lynne Dumais ’12 Takes the Stage as Tracy Turnblad in Regional Theater Production Based on John Waters’ Film

JSC alumna Lynne Dumais will be starring as Tracy Turnblad in an August production of the musical “Hairspray,” at the Central Massachusetts Theatre at the Mount, a regional theater in Central Massachusetts. Lynne graduated from Johnson State College in 2012 with a B.A. in musical theater, earned a master’s in Drama Therapy with a specialization in mental health counseling from Lesley University and is currently a clinician at LUK, Inc., a nonprofit multi-service agency dedicated to improving the safety, health, and emotional well-being of youth, families and adults.
