Chris Lamica – Class of 2008

Chris Lamica could be considered a jack of all trades. With teacher, professional basketball player, and actor on his resume, he now adds writer to the mix. Chris and his wife, Jenna (Lewis) Lamica, also a 2008 JSC grad, moved to LA in 2012, chasing his elusive acting dream. Lots of interviews and small parts later, Chris decided to take matters into his own hands. He created a webseries, “Twenties”, a self-proclaimed “dramedy” (drama & comedy) about three friends who are in their twenties, dealing with the ups and downs many 20-somethings go through as they try to find their place in the world.

Chris and the other three members of his production company (Easy Pickins Entertainment) hired a talented director and a fantastic cast and crew, including Daniel (Harmon) Hartz, a ’09 JSC alumn. Chris and the team are trying to bring their project to life by August 25th with the help of fundraising through Kickstarter.com.

Anna Liccione – Class of 2013

From 7-31-13 Seven Days magazine: “In 2011, we debuted the Daysiesman, the burly, bearded, blissfully naked dude who has adorned the cover of our Daysies issue ever since. This year, we went looking for the real-life version of the illustration. We thought the doppelgänger title would go to a beefy, bearish type. But you, readers, proved us wrong. You voted for an adorable jewelry maker who captured the essence of the Daysies Man when she posed in a sun-dappled field full of daisies. Anna Liccione, we salute you.”

(Anna is a long-time student worker in JSC’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations. You might know her as the friendly voice behind our Phonathon.)
