“The Bad Kids,” a documentary about an alternative school for students at risk of dropping out, will be screened March 14 at Johnson State College.
The screening, which will begin at 7 p.m. in room 207 of Bentley Hall, is free for the public. A panel discussion will follow the screening.
The film focuses on Black Rock Continuation High School in a poor Mojave Desert community. Students are so far behind in credits that it’s impossible for them to earn a degree at a traditional high school.
