Brittany Robertson Breaks JSC Women’s Hoops Record
Feb. 2 Game Nets Her Most Career 3-Point Shots
February 3, 2014
Brittany Robertson finished with 15 points, two rebounds and two assists in a narrow 74-73 loss against Pine Manor College Sunday afternoon, Feb. 2, at Johnson’s Carter Gymnasium. But the final score was secondary to Robertson’s statistical victories.
The Burlington, Vt., junior gave her fans ample reason to cheer during Sunday’s game, going 4-4 from 3-point land and consequently smashing through a Johnson State College women’s basketball record in the process. Robertson now holds the record for most career 3-point shots at 171 total, surpassing Amanda Burby, who previously held the record of 168.
Robertson continued her hot and netted her 1,000th point shortly after securing her place in the Johnson record books. Read more on the JSC Athletics website.
