On Wednesday, May 16, a celebration marking the 40th anniversary of this unique program – a collaboration among Johnson State College, the Grand Isle Supervisory Union, and the Burlington YMCA/Camp Abnaki – will take place from noon to 1:15 p.m. at Camp Abnaki in North Hero, VT.

Commemorative activities will begin at approximately 12:45, following an anniversary lunch provided by Camp Abnaki. Events will include brief remarks by representatives of Johnson State College, Grand Isle Schools, YMCA Camp Abnaki, and former and current students; a display of photographs and other program mementos of the program; a ceremonial tree planting; and a group photo.
