Casino Night at JSC
JSC Casino Night to Benefit United Way of Lamoille County
March 10, 2011
The 34th annual Casino Night at Johnson State College will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, March 18, at the Stearns Student Center. Admission is $5 for advance tickets and $7 at the door and includes food and refreshments. A cash bar serving beer and wine will be available.
This year’s theme is “Classy Vegas.” Patrons are encouraged to wear creative formal attire. A range of traditional casino games will be offered, including blackjack, roulette, poker and slots. The evening will conclude with an auction at which people may spend their winnings. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Lamoille County.
“This is a really popular event, and this year we’re hoping to make it better than ever,” reports Zach Johnston of the JSC Student Government Association, which is sponsoring the event. “We hope community members will come out in droves to support a great cause. It’s a lot of fun.”
