Professor and State Sen. Bill Doyle wrote an “In My View” column for The Valley Reporter of Waitsfield on the history of the town’s Joslin Memorial Library. “Speaking before 300 people in Waitsfield in 1913, George Joslin, whose family donated the money for the library, would have been very pleased with the remarkable changes that have taken place at Joslin Library and would have taken satisfaction that a new library was built in Waitsfield during a progressive time in our history,” he noted.
