Ceramics Fundraiser at JSC to Help Operation Smile

The 22nd annual Holiday Ceramics Sale at Johnson State College will be 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the Dewey Hall Commons.

The items for sale were made by JSC students and members of the public at the annual Thrown-A-Thon at the campus ceramics studio in October.

Proceeds from the sale will go to Operation Smile, an organization that provides free surgery for children born with a cleft palate.

Over the years, JSC has donated enough money to Operation Smile for 47 facial reconstructive surgeries, in addition to handmade quilts and hospital gowns. In recent years, the college’s donation has been matched by various corporations.
