February 27, 2017
The Johnson State College chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) will show a live broadcast of a talk by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper on March 12.
The broadcast, 7-8:30 p.m. in room 207 of Bentley Hall, is free to the public.
Cooper is the primary anchor of CNN’s “360°” news program.
JSC is one of just a few Vermont colleges with a chapter of the NSLS, which provides a peer network, scholarships and leadership opportunities. Johnson State students – undergraduates, graduate students and adult learners – in the NSLS make career connections and build professional development skills. They’re encouraged to pursue leadership positions on campus and in the community.
The New Jersey-based NSLS, the country’s biggest leadership honor society, has about 650,000 members at more than 500 colleges.
