Videos Produced for Johnson State Win Merit Award

A package of four videos produced for Johnson State College by a part-time faculty member has won a Merit Award as part of the Higher Education Marketing Report’s 28th annual Educational Advertising Awards.
Backroads & Blacktops Video, a Vermont company owned by JSC writing and literature faculty member Jacqueline Langley, produced videos titled The Found Young Men of Sudan at Johnson State College, Learning Beyond the Classroom at JSC, Academics at JSC and Student Voices at JSC for JSC’s Web site and other marketing materials. The package of videos placed in the New Media category.
The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, close to 3,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
The judges included higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report.
