Special event on Jan. 20 to focus on ‘Undoing Racism in Vermont’

In honor of Martin Luther King Day, Johnson State College will hold a special program titled “Reflections on Dr. King: Undoing Racism in Vermont” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20. Representatives from the Champlain Area NAACP and the Peace and Justice Center will share concrete ways to carry out Dr. King’s messages.
The speakers will focus primarily on racial justice, the need for inclusive communities and concrete ways to work at undoing racism. Free and open to the public, the event will be held in 207 Bentley Hall.
