Johnson Community Meals Offered to Public Jan. 25 through May 24

College and local co-sponsors provide a chance for Johnson community members to enjoy a meal together.

Johnson State College will offer its first free community meal of the year to the general public Jan. 25, 2017 at United Church of Johnson at 100 Main St.

The 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. meal, at which Johnson students, faculty and staff serve as volunteers, features a hot lunch on most of the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month through May for anyone who comes. All meals will be at the same time and location.

Future meal dates are Feb. 6, Feb. 20, March 8, March 22, April 12, April 26, May 10 and May 24.

The meals are sponsored in part by JSC Sodexo Dining Services, the JSC SERVE Office and Laraway Youth & Family Services.
