JSC Awards 416 Degrees at 145th Commencement

Johnson State College awarded 351 B.A./B.S. degrees, 55 graduate degrees, and 10 A.A./A.S. degrees at its 145th Commencement on May 12.
The college also presented an honorary doctorate of humane letters to its keynote speaker, Vermont Supreme Court Justice Beth Robinson.
Joining Justice Robinson at the podium were three student speakers: Jessica Pafumi (B.A., Outdoor Education), Byron Fletcher (B.A. History, EDP program) and José Chepe Cuadra (M.F.A.).
Two staff members also received degrees: Michele Whitmore, assistant dean of students (M.A., Counseling) and Lizi Lyon, staff assistant in the Advising & Career Center (M.A., Education).
