Johnson State College Wins Vermont Community Foundation Grant for Bio Research

$2,100 “Small and Inspiring” grant will fund research at college’s Babcock Nature Preserve

The Stowe Reporter published this news brief about Johnson State College being awarded a $2,100 “Small and Inspiring” grant from the Vermont Community Foundation. The money will fund a 24-hour ‘bioblitz’ at the college’s Babcock Nature Preserve in Eden, VT, where scientists, teachers and volunteers will “work in teams to identify as many plants and animals as possible, learning about the flora and fauna of the region and what is needed to steward those resources.”
