JSC Spinners Raise $3K for Special Olympics

Staff and friends of Johnson State College comprised the largest and most vocal team at the “6-Hour Ride for a Reason” fundraiser for the Vermont Special Olympics on Sunday, March 21, 2010. Members of the JSC team raised nearly $3,000 for Special Olympics and occupied the entire first row of spin cycles at the 10th annual event, held at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Burlington. Participants biked nonstop from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with only occasional five-minute restroom breaks.
