JSC-VPT Community Cinema Partnership

“VPT is thrilled to welcome Johnson State College as a new, formal partner in the Community Cinema program,” says Chuck Pizer, VPT’s director of community engagement. “JSC is the heart of this community, and it offers both its students and the public at large high-quality intellectual and cultural opportunities.”

“We’re excited to work with VPT to bring the Community Cinema program to the greater Johnson area,” adds David Bergh, JSC’s Dean of Student Life and College Relations. “These films raise important issues that deserve our attention, and Community Cinema ensures that we are all part of the discussion.” In addition, Bergh notes, the program will help to reinforce and strengthen connections between JSC and surrounding communities.
