Kathie Lovett Exhibit Opens Nov. 5 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson

Kathie Lovett’s paintings, sculpture and installation art will be featured in the exhibit “Nourish — Soil & Soul” Nov. 5-16 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson.

The exhibit and the opening reception 3-5 p.m. Nov. 7 at Julian Scott Memorial Gallery are free for the public.

Lovett’s exhibit focuses on the themes of land, food, culture and politics. The artist, from Franconia, New Hampshire, is a student in NVU-Johnson’s Master of Fine Arts in studio arts program.

The gallery is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
