Kevin Pearce Speaks Dec. 4 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson

Former professional snowboarder and traumatic brain injury survivor Kevin Pearce of Vermont will speak at 5 p.m. Dec. 4 at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. The talk, in Bentley Hall Room 207, is free for the public.

Pearce is a cofounder of the LoveYourBrain Foundation, a nonprofit that promotes brain health and aims to improve the quality of life for people affected by brain injuries. He sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2009 while training for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

He is featured in the HBO documentary “The Crash Reel.”
