Mary Alice McKenzie to Deliver Commencement Address

Mary Alice McKenzie, executive director of the Burlington Boys & Girls Club, will deliver the keynote address at Johnson State College’s 149th Commencement on Saturday, May 14, 2016. McKenzie, a Vermont native, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from St. Mary’s College and a Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. She has held a number of leadership positions in the state, including serving as general counsel of the Vermont State Colleges from 2001-2005. She practiced employment law at Paul Frank + Collins in Burlington before assuming the top post at the Boys & Girls Club and has served on a number of boards of directors, including those for Central Vermont Public Service, the Vermont Electric Power Co., Vermont Federal Bank, and Associated Industries of Vermont.

McKenzie and her husband, Allan Rodgers, live in Burlington with their five children.
